| About Me | I have been sailing and racing 24' yachts for over 30 years inshore and some off shore races. I am a member =of the Balmain Sailing Club in Sydney and have been a member for over 15 years. I have been a committee member for the past 10 years. I don't have any formal yachting qualifications but I consider myself as a proficient and competent sailor. I have had both foredeck and cockpit experience and i have skippered my own Farr 727 for the past 15 years. I have a crew of 4 when i race . I can get a number of Balmain sailing Club committee members to vouch for my sailing and yacht handling ability . I was asked just recently to be a member of the Club's race protest committee. I designed and maintained the Clubs Web site and have just recently had it re designed. http://www.balmainsailingclub.com. Hopefully these qualifications will be enough to allow me to skipper one of your yachts. There will also be 3 other members of the charter party that have got sailing experience and one of those has sailed on the Adriatic between Split and Dubrovnik | ||||||||||||
